CANDISS

Candiss is originally from Hawaii and moved to California in 2002 to attend USC. She graduated in 2006 with a degree in Education, and has been teaching in LAUSD for 19 years. She is currently an Intervention Coordinator at an elementary school in South LA.

While attending USC, she became a member of the Sirens, an all-female a capella group. She grew up singing in school choir and in church and continues to lead praise and worship for her current church community in East LA. When she’s not teaching or singing, you can find her going on adventures with her wonderful husband Fedna and her two beautiful boys, Izaya and Zakai.
